“…when you have a time-varying magnetic field, an impulse, the conductive tissue, as long as we are alive our body is 80% salt water, our blood, all of our tissues if we were mummified as if dried out on the desert wouldn’t be an excellent conductor like we are right now. But a magnetic field, the flux from the magnetic field meets conductive tissue which is every cell in your body and back emf, electromotive force is generated which puts the desired 100 microamperes, 100 millionth of an ampere, through the tissue and ruins the outer transcriptase of the outer protein layer and those cells are just as good as dead. They are going to float around for awhile and it does no damage to healthy cells whatsoever.”
Here’s the abstract of the landmark study published back in 1982 by Andrew Bassett and his research team. Their research heralded a paradigm shift in the treatment for healing bone fractures—fractures that weren’t healing by any other means. The abstract of “Pulsing Electromagnetic Field Treatment in Ununited Fractures and Failed Arthrodeses” reports, “This surgically noninvasive, outpatient method … promoted healing in 85% of patients.”
Tim Watson, Professor of Physiotherapy at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK, gives an overview of medically-based research using both static magnets and pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF).

An abstract of a report titled “Bioeffects of weak electromagnetic fields” provides another amazing list of health conditions improved by Electromagnetic Frequencies: “Cell studies and therapeutic applications of electric and magnetic fields indicate that weak electromagnetic fields can have a profound effect on a large variety of biological systems.” 1994.
“Imagine devices that can disable and destroy microorganisms—viruses, bacteria and fungi—by means of a pulsed, intense, magnetic field?” In this article published in the August/September 1998 issue of the “Health Freedom News,” physicist, Gary Wade, provides everything you need to know to build one.
Dr. William Pawluk, recognized specialist in Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields (PEMF), provides the basics for anyone new to the use of this technology for health. The use of PEMF has a long history of use in Europe. After co-writing, Magnetic Therapy in Eastern Europe, Dr. Pawluck established a website to offer both information and products in the US.
In “Measurement of the Human Biofield and Other Energetic Instruments” Beverly Rubik provides a great overview of the electromagnetic nature of our bodies as well as the fact we emit light, sound and heat.
Her article helps explain the difficulty mainstream scientists have with Energy Medicine and Energy Fields. She describes the energy fields that surround us: “The human body emits low-level light, heat, and acoustical energy, has electrical and magnetic properties, and may also transduce energy that cannot be easily defined by physics and chemistry.”
Pulsed magnetic fields help heal an impressive list of ailments! A review of studies by Canadian researchers indicates that magnetic fields are effective to alleviate at least 20 disease conditions. Check “Therapeutic Uses of Pulsed Magnetic-Field Exposure: A Review” published December 2003.
An abstract of “Evidence-based use of pulsed electromagnetic field therapy in clinical plastic surgery” published in 2009 states that:
PEMF therapy has been used successfully in the management of postsurgical pain and edema, the treatment of chronic wounds …
Given the recent rapid advances in development of portable and economical PEMF devices, what has been of most significance to the plastic surgeon is the laboratory and clinical confirmation of decreased pain and swelling following injury or surgery.
This video documents research based on a Canadian team’s visits to Europe and North America to check out the use of PEMF. Magda Havas starts with the deleterious effects of wireless communication systems in “EMF can harm and can heal using PEMF (Pulsating Electromagnetic Field Therapy)”
