Microcurrents Boost Energy

Researchers in Europe studied the effects of microcurrents on rat skin to discover that: “electrostimulation of the tissue resulted in remarkably increased ATP concentrations. With currents from 50 uA to 1000 uA, the ATP levels were increased threefold to fivefold.” ATP is crucial to the energy of cells that drive our body processes. Published in 1982 as “The Effects of Electric Current on ATP Generation, Protein Synthesis, and Membrane Transport in Rat Skin.”
