Normal body processes are enhanced with microcurrents. Our energy is dependent on the production of ATP (Adenosine triphosphate) within our cells. In “Physiological Basis of Microcurrent Therapy” researcher, Peter Lathrop, describes three healing body processes that are stimulated with the use of microcurrents: “ATP (adenosine triphosphate), protein synthesis, and membrane transport.”
Research released by the University of Washington titled “Magnetic fields may hold key to malaria treatment, UW researchers find” indicates Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields show promise as a malaria treatment. Professor Henry Lai who conducted the research at the University of Washington explains, “It’s a very weak magnetic field, just a little stronger than the earth’s. The difference is that it is oscillating.” March 30, 2000
Discover more about Dr. Tracey’s ground-breaking research with a summary by Gary Stix titled “An Electrical Off-Switch for Disease” adding “Stimulator devices can tweak nervous system activity to turn down inflammation or treat other effects of disease”. A video of Kevin Tracey introducing his research is also featured.
The cover of the March 2015 Scientific American announced the feature article as “Electric Cures.” Brain surgeon, Kevin Tracey, author of “Electronic Medicine Fights Disease” describes a microcurrent device he uses,
It is based on a deceptively simple concept of harnessing the body’s natural reflexes to develop an array of effective, safe and economical alternatives to many pills and injectable drugs.
The Flexner Report to the Carnegie Foundation in 1910 about medical education brought a halt to the use of electricity for healing and also buried the recognition of the electrical nature of the body. The Flexner Report was never, apparently, scrutinized until Mark D. Hiatt, MD, MBA had a closer look 2000. In “The Amazing Logistics of Flexner’s Fieldwork”, he reveals the obvious flaws in the Flexner Report.
Google recognizes the effectiveness of energy medicine. The on-line newspaper, The Telegraph asks “Is Google working on a cure for cancer?” The article shows “a wrist-worn device that could destroy cancer cells in the blood.” Their patent “describes a wearable device that ‘can automatically modify or destroy one or more targets in the blood that have an adverse health effect’”. Research, conducted by scientists in Turkey, using a specially prepared form of nanosilver was found to be an effective antimicrobial against E.coli and Candida albicans as well as the following additional pathogenic microorganisms: S.aureus, P.aeruginos, B.subtili, S.typhimurium, K.pneumonia.

NASA uses a form of Ionic Silver to disinfect the water system on board spacecraft. They decided to test silver in ionic form after finding that “Microbial growth is common on wetted surfaces in spacecraft environmental control and life support systems despite the use of chemical and physical disinfection methods.”
As a result of research, they now use silver as they found that both the silver ions in water and on metal surfaces were effective in controlling bacterial growth:
silver is an effective antimicrobial through multiple pathways. … the results indicate that 0.4 mg/L ionic silver is an effective biocide against many bacteria and that a pre-passivation of metal surfaces with silver can provide additional microbial control
“Disinfection of Spacecraft Potable Water Systems by Passivation with Ionic Silver” was posted on their website in 2011.
Seasickness—debilitating dizziness and nausea—from the rocking motion triggered by boats and ships can be avoided by applying mild electricity to the head. The application will also relieve suffering from motion sickness as a result of long trips by airplane, bus, car, or train.
The research, originally published in 2015 in the medical journal Neurology, used the increasingly popular transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) to treat motion sickness. A major advantage for the use of electricity is the absence of any apparent side effects.
